Would it be possible for a plant to bring cancer?
this is just one of those irregular thoughts that popped into my head surrounded by work today
Answer:
Yes. Plants have cell. Plants can have cancer. If you pilfer a walk within the woods sometime you will notice trees and plants near bumps and odd lumps . . that's cancer. Take a look at these descriptions:
tomato plant with crown brass neck disease (plant cancer)

Plant tumors

I dont believe so
no
No, only mammals can win cancer.
i wouldnt have thought so, although its noticeably possible to get cancer from a plant.
Under the premise that cancer is simply mutating cell, I think that plants can win cancer. I have see mutated and atypical plant growth before.
Yes.
Cancer is the fast overpopulation of cells. I googled it and found this:
A plant will solely respond to a plant carcinogen or at least a compound which may induce 'cancer' surrounded by a plant. Usually the response will be a gall or phenomenal amount of plant cells formed at a specific site artificial by the carcinogenic agent. For example some galls on plants are a form of plant cancer cause by a wasp. However not all compounds which bring cancer in humans or animals will incentive the plant to also have a cancer. Plant cancer cause compounds may not affect humans or animals.
Yes; Any multicellular organism that operates via cellular division have the possibility to get cancer. However, plant tumors and cancer are usually refered to as 'galls'. See my source link for more information on plant gall.
I know that trees can get cancer!;
