I have pain contained by my jaw and collar and went to my dentist since I have had X-Rays by him a week back. Well, he took $200 more worth of X-Rays and said my problem wasn't dental. A week later I be in the hospital beside a heart attack.

It could even be candidiasis (thrush) but do get it checked out Good luck
Oral cancer doesn't grow impressively fast. In other words, if it be cancer, that area of your mouth would't hold gone from nothing, to a small red spot, lump, no lump, flat white nouns all within a period of 3 weeks.
That man said, you can give it another couple of weeks and see if it heal on its own or make a high-speed stop at the dentist so he can take a look.
