A CBC is done to show white blood cell count. If white blood cell count is high that way that an infection could be present.
The CBC or complete blood count will show your hemoglobin levels which is an indirect test of your red blood cells. Hematocrit which is an indirect method of the concentration of viscosity of your blood. Red blood cell count. White blood cell count. Differential count which is the percentage of the different types of white blood cells. And platelet count.
A complete blood count (CBC) question paper measures the following:
* The number of red blood cells (RBCs)
* The number of white blood cell (WBCs)
* The total amount of hemoglobin in the blood
* The fraction of the blood composed of red blood cell (hematocrit)
