Nail polish remover on cold sores?

is it a impossible idea?
i enjoy never tried it but i have a really bleak one.
have any other remedies besides alot of rime and abreva?

I wouldnt try it if I were you-it will be far too jarring on your already sore area of skin and unlikely to give a hand anyway. Think you just enjoy to stick to ice and abreva and skulk it out ;) I have found that Carmex works best on coldsores and it is much smaller amount expensive than Abreva. If you can catch it when you first start fear it developing, it may not even fully develop (at least that have been my experience). Since you come across to have a full blown cold sore, it will give somebody a lift more time to tame it down. Hope it works for you.

Instead, try hydrogen peroxide. If the sore is in your mouth, rinse next to HP like you would mouthwash, rinsing three times a light of day. You shoudl feel results in a day and the sore should be gone inwardly about three days.
An added benefit is that it will whiten your teeth too!
