Kidney sound out?
I went for an utrasound scan finishing week, and it was discovered that my right kidney is not functioning at adjectives. The scan was for my womb, but because I have drunk a considerable amount of fluid in demand for my bladder to fill up, and my bladder be completely empty after three hours, the radiographer approved to check out my kidneys. I have to bear an IVP, but has anyone experienced indistinguishable, suddenly finding out that one of your kidney's isn't working. Can you tell me your story, and what be done about it.

I was have rountine ultrasound and kidney scan as well when I found out. It took my doctors months previously they figured out what it be. I had deformity tissue on my ureter which was closing the ureter and making the urine stay within the kidney. Finally after about a year of test and other procedures surgery was done and 3 days ago be my one year anniversary of the surgery and everything is good. They can't know for sure that your kidney isn't completely working until the IVP or a kidney scan is done. My function have dropped down to 32% and as of 6 months after surgery it was put a bet on up to 36%. If you have any more question you can email me. Can't say that I've experienced this, myself; but my recent experience be scary adequate - in checking adjectives my systems prior to total shoulder replacement surgery, the Cardiac Stress Test showed I had potentially blocked coronary arteries. I have to undergo cardiac catherization, which showed blockage of 20 - 60%. This be not enough to preclude my shoulder surgery; but I hold to take drug for the blockage.
