Can a doctor prescribe the mederma gel or do you have to purchase it?

Hi...i was wondering whether my personal GP can subscribe the mederma blemish gel or would I have to purchase it...because stuff such as T-Gel shampoo can be prescribed free by the GP but its also available to buy...thanks contained by advance

Answer:    Mederma is not NHS prescribable..
You can buy over the counter but i found it hard to find. If you are within Australia i bought mine via www.pharmacyonline.com.au
It was recommended to us by a nurse so i hope it works! I'm pretty sure that it's only over the counter. So I don't have a sneaking suspicion that that a GP can prescribe it.
