Terrible symptoms and I don't know what is wrong?
I am 15 and lately I have been having strange strength issues (I don't know if that is the best way to put it). Here are some things that have be happening:
-insomnia- I Absolutely cannot sleep at night for some reason. I stay up until 7 surrounded by the the morning and then I am tired the rest of the day. I have be taking trazadone (100 mg) but lately that has stopped working and I feel Absolutely at a loss for what to do to get sleep.
-depression- I enjoy had depression before but never like this. I don't want to swing out with my friends, I just want to stay home (possibly from lack of sleep?)
-wheezing- I do own asthma but I have not wheezed in several years and contained by just the past week I have be wheezing everyday and at night.
-weight gain- I have gained almost 15 lbs surrounded by 3 months
-terrible,long lasting head aches- I have be having a head ache that have been lasting for 5 days and along with it I touch nausea and dizziness.
I am really looking for serious answers. I don't know why this is all happening at once and it is making me frustrated, irritable and depressed. I am currently seeing a counselor. I have be tested for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, overactive thyroid (and i think below active as well). I am going to get tested for Celia in a few days.
Please give a hand me. I am feeling totally frustrated and fed up and it is putting me into depression.
I have see my family doctor about it and she thought it was depression so she put me on Lexapro (but I have an adverse reaction and they immediately took me off of it).
Celiac disease be my first thought. I had most of those symptoms with it. Honestly, even if the test comes put a bet on negative, I still think you should try the gluten free diet. There are actually moderately a few false negatives with it and there are culture who have non-celiac gluten intolerance. As for the wheezing, I have celiac disease and dairy allergy secondary to it and when I guzzle dairy it triggers my asthma. I think you should wait until you get tested (if you start the diet up to that time then, you will start to heal and it will screw up the results), but even if it comes rear negative you should try the gluten free anyway. After a few weeks gluten free you should try dairy free as well and see how you react. Let me know if you hold any questions.

The trazadone may be part of the problem. If you are taking it at bed time, most people achieve drowsy with it. It just may not work that way for you, so you may want to try taking it surrounded by the morning. The fact that you have lost interest in things would suggest that the depression is not man helped by this medication. Weight gain is also associated with antidepressants. If the lexapro gave you trouble, you may want to discuss paxil 10 mg and stopping the trazadone near your health care provider. Hope you feel better soon.
