My blood Pressure?
Hi, I am a 23yr old Male, llittle overweight, I just took my blood pressure and Heart Pulse rate.. and it read 101/58BP and 58 heart rate,
Is that ok, is that normal?
should be around 120 over 80 with around 85 bpm, your piece of equipment is probably off,you would have passed out with a bpm of 58
You have got hypotension and bradycardia. If you are a well trined athlete, later bradycardia will not be a problem.
Bradycardia, as applied to adult medicine, is defined as a resting heart rate of under 60 beat per minute, though it is seldom symptomatic until the rate drops below 50 beat/min.
Most normal blood pressures fall in the field of 90/60 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) to 130/80 mm Hg. But a significant drop, even as little as 20 mm Hg, can cause problems for some people.
If you change from sitting position to standing position, here will a drop in blood pressure of about 10 mmHg. This will cause dizziness, vertigo, faint etc. If you stand in a queue for a long period, you may feel such symptoms.
Low blood pressure can usually be treated beside success.

Normal BP can run from 90/60 to 120/80 and pulse can run from 60-100 but usually at rest runs 60-80. Your BP is fine at 101/58 and the pulse is fine at 58 as ably. If it was down to 50 or 52 for BP or heart rate I would worry but just 2 points below middle-of-the-road is nothing to be alarmed over. You are fine and as long as it stays low like that the better. High BP is more serious than low but extremely low can cause problems as economically. You are normal and just fine. Source(s): *work in medical pen 20+years
Both are clearly normal. RELAX! Source(s): GP for more years than I care to remember
great bp...140/90 is considered high... Do a little exercise to increase that heart rate... Also whip your bp about the same time at least 3 x per week for a couple of weeks and see what is "normal" for you.
average heart rate 60
BP is ok some ppl are merely like that, is not that low.
