My advice is to be a grown up and permit someone know. what if your friend is too sick to tell anyone? if he dies, will you feel doomed to failure? you should go to jail, but you probably wont receive in trouble if you tell someone right very soon. If you haven't already, tell your parents, the doctor -someone - the truth.
