Respiratory Infection or Side Effect of Lamictal??
I just started Lamictal 2 weeks ago and hold followed the guidelines for taking it. About 5 days ago, my heartrate was 130 without any exertion...it usually is more or less 80. It hasn't done that since so I disregarded, but I've been experiencing fairly constant chest affliction and tightness (sometimes very painful) in the final 2-3 days with some shortness of breath. I've been coughing...awfully harsh, deep, raw coughs without coughing up any mucous. My throat has be hurting off and on...and my head have been hurting fairly habitually. My nose seems form of stuffy as well, but not runny. I've been tired and vague, but have had no confusion. I haven't had a cold recently, and my heartrate have not shot up again since last week. I'm also on Wellbutrin, Concerta, and oral contraceptives. What is the most likely basis of these symptoms?
Answer: I don't know but please go to a Dr.right away or even to an ER! It sounds like it could be terrifically serious.
