i want to become a actress but father wants me to become a doctor im a little confused want your help please lend a hand me
Answers: Follow your heart. Go to college for a couple years, take acting classes, and you may find you don't like it. You may find that astronomy class is what you really love.
If you find acting is in your genes and you can't achieve it out, go for it. You are still young, there is plenty of time to regulation your mind.
I am a current medical student and I don't recommend becoming a doctor unless you REALLY REALLY want to. It is a lot of hard work, and if you lack the desire and determination to do it you really shouldn't. If your father have a problem with the actress thing maybe you should pursue a drama & coaching degree until you get your big break =]. And if it doesn't work out you can still incorporate what you love with your everyday energy. Always follow your heart. Good luck!

If you hate what you are doing you will fail. If you close to what you are doing you will succeed.Think of it this way. You will have to work for 25 or so years. Going to a job you loathe but capture paid decently is it worth your mental health to live close to that? Or working for less money but having love for that career.
Don't tolerate anyone push you into something that you don't want to do. I would seriously think about what will be around 10 years from now when you get hold of out of school. Think of all those people such as repair men whom go to school and now there is no tangible need for them. They have wasted their time and money within school and now their chosen career is unsophisticatedly self maintained or through the internet.
There will always be sick people (pharmacy, hospital, nursing homes) within will always be a need for luxuries (going out to eat, animals, cars) But within 10 years there will no longer be a need for interpreters for the deaf there are frequent advances in technologies to relieve the hearing impaired (personal experience)
